These are the men that our founder, Billy Horton goes to for business, athletic and personal advice. They hold him accountable as a businessman, coach, husband and father. Each of them have significant gifting in different areas and have helped mold Billy into the man he is today. He has a strong relationship with these men and feels privileged to call each one of them a close friend.
Andre Wadsworth
Andre was the 3rd overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He was an All-American defensive end at Florida State University and was inducted into the college’s Hall of Fame in 2004. Andre is a successful businessman with past ownerships of car dealerships, restaurants as well as an arena football team. He currently owns Creamistry, Arizona and has three locations in the Phoenix area. Andre is also the co-founder and Executive Pastor of Impact Church in Scottsdale, AZ.
Christopher Sylvester
Chris is a 24 year military veteran. After graduating from Cactus High School he enlisted in the Navy, and soon thereafter earned an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. He has earned a B.S. in Physics, M.S. in Astronautical Engineering, and a Master’s in Program Management. Chris served as a search & rescue helicopter pilot, a fixed-wing flight instructor, and closed out his Naval career in the intelligence community. In 2018, Chris was a candidate for U.S. Congress and he currently is a Senior Program Manager for Honeywell Space Programs.
Danny Putnam
Danny was drafted by the Oakland A’s in the supplemental first round in 2004 and made his Major League debut in April of 2007. Prior to playing professionally, he spent three years at Stanford University where he was a first team All American in 2004. In 2001 he was a High School All-American and was named the California state player of the year. He was the co-founder of Lurong Living and is now the Owner and Operator of Chick-fil-A Encinitas in San Diego, CA.
Jim Reid
Jim played baseball at the University of Iowa from 2000-2004. He is a Certified High-Performance Coach and Entrepreneur who helps driven and ambitious athletes, entrepreneurs, coaches, and parents master disciplines in high-performance and business so they can win at home, work and sports. Jim helps his clients acquire, refine, and master advanced tools and disciplines proven to accelerate next level growth and boost clarity, energy, courage, productivity, and influence.
Jon Huizinga
Jon pitched at Michigan State University from 1999-2002. Through hard work and sheer determination he carved out a 14 year professional playing career, with the Milwaukee Brewers and multiple Independent League teams. He has tremendous knowledge and passion for the art of pitching and has been a coach at the youth, high school, collegiate and professional level since 2003. This includes 10 years with our organization. Jon is the co-founder of Fuel Factory Sports in Phoenix, AZ.
Kory DeHaan
Kory was drafted in the 7th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1997 and has 7 years of professional playing experience. He made his Major League debut as a player in 2000 with the San Diego Padres. Kory has coached at the professional level with the Chico Outlaws (2009), San Diego Padres (2010-2011), and Pittsburgh Pirates (2012-2020). He is currently the hitting coach for the IMG Academy National team in Bradenton, FL.
Steve Stanley
Steve, a second round draft pick in 2002 by the Oakland Athletics, spent 5 years in their organization. Prior to playing professionally, he spent 4 years at the University of Notre Dame where he was a consensus 1st team All American in 2002 and led the Irish to their first College World Series berth in over 50 years. He was the Big East Player of the Year in 2001 & 2002 and left Notre Dame with the 3rd most hits in NCAA history. Steve now owns his own Independent Insurance Agency in Phoenix, AZ. They also operate in Ohio and Washington.
