Hitting Clinic Overview
This one day hitting clinic is a great opportunity for players to improve their overall skills and allow parents to get some holiday shopping done! Our professional coaches will encourage and push the players to reach a higher performance level and the cost is only $99!
The players will be separated by age and/or ability level. We begin the day with a dynamic warm up and agility training. The focus then shifts to our baseball skill training. A sample clinic schedule is listed below.
Important Note: We have a max of 50 players who can register for this camp.

Skill Sets for the Camp:
Hitting: The players will receive concentrated instruction on proper swing mechanics. Stance, posture, stride, rotation, staying on plane, launch angle, exit velocity and balance are some of the key topics that will be discussed and practiced.
Strength Training: The players will have a station that includes baseball specific strength training that will help with their rotational strength and proper kinetic sequence.
Base Running: The players will have a station that includes base running fundamentals.

Camp instructors displayed are scheduled to attend and more will be added based on registrations.
Equipment
Each player is encouraged to bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring tennis shoes or molded cleats, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark the player’s names on all items. Cactus Athletics is not responsible for lost belongings. We will have additional bats if any players need them for the clinic.
Food and Beverages
Water and food will not be provided by Cactus Athletics so please make sure to bring a large water jug. There will be no snack breaks, so we encourage you to feed your kids a healthy breakfast. If your player requires food due to a medical condition, we will accommodate your needs. Players will not be allowed to share food during lunch.

Check-in: All players are encouraged to check in at least 10 minutes prior to the start time of the clinic.

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We give you 2 options (1) credit towards one of our future events or (2) a full refund.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. The email will come from info@cactusathletics.com. Any additional information that we need to convey as the clinic draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp.
